I have spoken to the chap that is buying the property, originally got told it was a septic tank. Located in the shrubs at the side of the driveway. Further into the conversation he mentioned service. Thinks it was installed in 1970 when the bungalow was built. System has power so I was thinking pumped or even STP. He mentioned that the bungalow has it's own power supply, so there must be a borehole somewhere - wondered how he gets this tested - refer to kits on google. Nearest watercourse is 300m away. After our conversation, I looked online to see if there was a permit in place (if discharging to ground - require permit) There was, this is a STP discharging directly to a watercourse through 2 neighbouring fields - I have attached this as there is a may on the last page to help identify where things are. Installed in 2011 when the property was extended. There is a panel with a red light that has never been wired in - could this be HLA for pumped outlet? Please can you check what this is for and let me know. Also could you have a walk down to the discharge pipe and to see if the effluent is coming out indicating that the pipework is all good. Just to confirm the objectives for the system check: 1 - check if the current system meets current general binding rules 2 - check the size of the current system to ensure it is adequate for the property 3 - check if there is any surface water from the downpipes entering the system 4 - check the condition of the tank for crack/leaks/structural condition if possible to check the outlet point, if this is to ground, we will check for any signs of leeching (indicates drainfield failure) 5 - provide a full report with photographs and any quotes should remedial works or replacement be required 6 - Call Kirsty whilst on site.

Natalie requires a survey. (Charged) Selling house unit smells and suspects its leaking. Discharges to soakaway in field but the waste is entering the stream that runs through her boundary. Had an empty which she supervised done correctly. Apparently the tank is fine. But discharge to the stream makes sense as you wouldn't put a drainfield in when that is there. Obviously needs an STP. Could you assess the leak, and survey for an STP please Unsure of surface water

The pump engineer will be entering a live site therefore will require an induction and to be wearing safety boots , hi viz vest and a hard hat as the minimum level of PPE. Wearmouth Constructions foreman is Shaun and l will make him aware of the engineer visit and the engineer should then seek him out upon arrival.
