Has a septic tank which pumps to an inspection chamber before a drainfield. Recent CCTV report shows that some of the pipe is damaged/deformed. He says this is the rising main, but I was unsure how rising main could be CCTV surveyed because of the bend. Told me it was 80mm pipework. He would like a visit to enable us to quote to replace the section that is broken.

We commissioned this site on 09/09/24 on behalf of Marsh Ind, they have since had a new control panel, they have mounted it and wired it in. They want someone to go and program the control panel and set over loads etc.

WPL Sewage treatment system installed in 1991. The system is currently not working, media is no longer in the correct cage, this needs to be investigated to find the cause. Tank requires a full empty to assess the tank, pipework etc to see what requires repair/replacement. All items in the kiosk require removing and new sockets/panels need assessing for replacement. There is a sludge return pump within the tank which is not working, this requires assessing to either replace or change to an air blower based sludge return. There appears to be a sand filter in one part of the tank with air blowing into it. This needs to be looked at and decided what is the best option to deal with this. The first step is to remove all items from the kiosk to create room and check airlines to the plant. To get the tank emptied to check the tank condition, measure the pipes and see why the media has escaped. Following this visit we would be able to provide a quotation for the full works required. The tanker is booked for the 13th March by yourselves to empty the tank, we suggest we attend site at the same time to complete the above first step. We would guess a rough budget for the works would be in the range of 4000 - 6000 + VAT based on the tank being structurally sound and no extensive damage is found when the tanker empties the system. This is a guess budget priced and is based on Marks opinion only and is not fact.

Meeting Eurotech on site at 8am Just to confirm the objectives for the system check: 1. Check if the current system meets current general binding rules 2. Check the size of the current system to ensure it is adequate for the property 3. Check if there is any surface water from the downpipes entering the system 4. Check the condition of the tank for crack/leaks/structural condition 5. If possible to check the outlet point, if this is to ground, we will check for any signs of leeching (indicates drainfield failure) 6. Provide a full report with photographs and any quotes should remedial works or replacement be required Call Kirsty whilst on site for de-brief to ensure she has all info to produce report
